The Brief-for-Transformation Principle

The single most important content strategy insight from 2026 research: content framed around transformation converts at significantly higher rates than content showcasing amenities.

A creator who posts “I had the most incredible spa treatment at this Phuket resort” will generate engagement. A creator who posts “This is what 5 days in Thailand with a local DMC actually looks and feels like — here is what changed for me” will generate decisions. Every brief below is built around this principle: brief the experience and the story, not the feature list.

How this trip changed my perspective on Asia. Focus on transformation, not the feature list. Maximum 3 location transitions. End on an emotional beat — a quiet moment, a reflection, a line that lands.

Shot List

Opening hook (first 1.5 seconds — text overlay or action), establishing wide shot of destination, 2–3 B-roll sequences showing Explera-arranged experiences, creator to camera (C2C) reflection, closing CTA to follow @expleradmc.

Audio Guidance

Trending audio recommended for reach. Alternatively, original voiceover recorded clean on location (minimise wind). Background music should be local to the destination when possible — Thai instrumental, Korean indie, Indonesian gamelan.

Posting Requirements

Tag @expleradmc and the relevant destination account. Include #hosted, #gifted, or #partner disclosure. Caption must mention Explera DMC by name in the first two lines. Geo-tag the specific location (not just the country).

10–15 minutes (minimum 8 minutes for Mid/Macro)

Story Structure

Open on a teaser moment (the single most visually arresting frame from the trip). Then follow a chronological day-in-the-life structure: arrival, first experience, midday peak, evening reflection. Close on a 30–60 second personal takeaway. The audience should feel they travelled with you.

Content Requirements

Show the full Explera DMC experience — the airport transfer, the guide interaction, the itinerary detail. Do not edit out the logistics; that authenticity is the trust signal. Include one unscripted moment where something unexpected happens.

Technical Notes

Minimum 1080p. Stabilised footage (gimbal recommended for walking sequences). Clean audio — lav mic for C2C, shotgun for ambient. Colour grade for consistency across the episode. Thumbnail: high contrast, face visible, destination recognisable.

Posting Requirements

Title must include destination name. Description must include a dedicated paragraph about Explera DMC with a link to influencers.expleradmc.com. Include #hosted in the first three lines of the description. Pinned comment tagging @expleradmc.

Daily Checklist

Morning frame: where you are, what the plan is. Midday frame: the experience (tag @expleradmc). Food frame: every meal is content. Evening reflection frame: what stood out. One interactive element per day — poll, question sticker, or countdown to next destination.

Disclosure

One Story per day must include a visible #hosted or #gifted overlay. This can be on the morning frame or the experience frame. Not hidden in tiny text — visible, readable, transparent.

Format

Direct-to-camera recommendation of the experience, shot casually on phone. Vertical. No polished transitions. This format outperforms polished brand creative in paid feeds by a significant margin — it looks like a genuine recommendation from a friend, because it is.

Script Framework

Hook: "I just got back from [destination] with Explera DMC and here is what surprised me..." Middle: one specific experience highlight. Close: "If you are a creator and you want to do this, the application link is in my bio."

Licensing Note

This format may be licensed by Explera for paid social use. Your content brief will specify whether paid amplification rights are included. Standard programme: organic only. Flagship campaigns: paid usage discussed and compensated separately.
